Vitamin B12 deficiency: Headaches could be a warning sign your diet lacks these foods

Vitamin B12 deficiency warning signs could include headaches, according to the UK’s biggest healthcare provider.

“Vitamin B12 deficiency or folate deficiency anaemia can cause a wide range of symptoms,” they said online.

“These usually develop gradually but can worsen if the condition goes untreated.”

Making the statements on its website, the NHS listed extreme tiredness, a general lack of energy and headaches as symptoms of problems with red blood cells, a warning sign of vitamin B12 deficiency.

Feeling faint, pale skin, noticeable heartbeats, hearing sounds and a loss of appetite are also signs, the organisation said.
