New research published in the Journal of Human Hypertension, reveals eating eggs can reduce the risk of high blood pressure by 21 per cent.

Currently over 34 per cent of Australian adults suffer from high blood pressure, placing them at high risk of chronic illnesses such as stroke, coronary heart disease, heart failure and chronic kidney disease.

The most common factors responsible for high blood pressure include poor diet, being overweight or obese, and lack of physical activity.
