Supermarkets and different meals retailers are fuelling Scotland’s weight problems epidemic, in accordance with new analysis.
A report commissioned by Food Requirements Scotland discovered that in-store promotions have been heavily weighted in favour of food with high ranges of salt or sugar.
The Stirling College teachers behind the report referred to as for a “retail revolution” to assist individuals choose more healthy choices.

Professor Leigh Sparks, who wrote the report, advised BBC Radio Scotland’s Good Morning Scotland programme that there was an imbalance in the kind of food promoted in outlets.
